Litigation Lawyer — Constitutional, Civil & Commercial Litigation

Elysium Legal, a Montréal-based firm serving Québec and Ontario, is looking for a lawyer to join its team. We provide strategic advocacy in commercial litigation, administrative law, and public interest litigation, with a particular focus on matters engaging constitutional rights, civil liberties, and accountability of public institutions.

The work: Our files involve high-stakes matters — Charter-based constitutional challenges, judicial reviews, regulatory and commercial disputes, and public interest cases that often unfold in the public eye. You’ll appear in court on legally and factually complex files. We are particularly looking for someone who can support our commercial litigation practice (shareholder disputes, post-transactional litigation, civil claims, etc.).

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 5 years called to the bar
  • Courtroom experience (required)
  • Full bilingualism (French/English)
  • Licensed to practice in Québec and/or Ontario
  • Based in Montréal, Ottawa, or Toronto
  • Genuine interest in constitutional, civil, and commercial law

What we offer

  • Compensation between $150,000 and $165,000, depending on experience
  • Flexible remote work
  • Engaging files at the intersection of business law, fundamental rights, and public law
  • A close-knit firm focused on strategic clarity and top-tier advocacy
